Morning Announcements - Tuesday, March 17, 2026

The EMS cafeteria will be serving Bosco sticks with sauce or Daily Grab & Go, carrot coins, Luck O’ the Irish frozen Icee, a shamrock cookie, and milk for lunch today.

The weather report for today is cloudy, windy with a high of 27.

Today’s trivia question is: Where was the first St. Patrick’s Days parade held?

Last minute donations are to be handed in today, Tuesday, March 17 for the Washington, D.C. fundraising calendar. Drop them off to the main office or give to Mrs. Bishop or Mr. LaCivita.

Power of the Pen will have practice today until 4 pm in Mrs. Schoenherr’s room.

Don’t forget about the Penny Wars for the 6th, 7th & 8th graders. It runs through March 18. Pennies will be added to the total and count as 2 cents each. Nickels and dimes add to the total. Quarters and one dollar bills subtract. Remember the grade that has the largest amount collected will be rewarded to a make your own sundae event which is a bowl of ice cream with many different toppings.

On March 24, we are hosting a Red Cross Blood Drive from 3-7pm here in the gymnasium. Every student who gets a donor to sign up and donor will get a chance to win a $10 gift card.Get your relatives or neighbors to sign up. In order to make an appointment, just go to redcross.org Let’s pump it up, pump it up!

The trivia answer is that the first St. Patrick’s Day parade was held in New York City in 1762
