Morning Announcements - Friday, April 24, 2026

The EMS cafeteria will be serving Wild Mike’s pizza or Daily Grab & Go, celery & cucumber spears with ranch, pretzel twists, fruit choice and milk for lunch today.

The weather report for today is sunny with a high of 77 and a chance of rain this evening.

Today’s trivia question is: What colors make up the sun?

Any 7th grade student who did not hand in their money, tickets and unsold fundraising calendars yesterday for the Washington, D.C. trip and brought it today should take it to the main office, give it to Mr. LaCivita or Mrs. Bishop.

To all 4th-7th grade boys, a Final Forms email was sent out with information regarding a middle school summer boys’ basketball camp in July.  A flyer has been placed on the office counter that you can pick up, fill out, and return before the school year is out. Please contact Coach Campana if you have any questions.

We wish good luck to those participating in the Margaretta Relays.

Are you currently in 6th or 7th grade and are interested in cheerleading? If so, an informational packet has been send out on Final Forms. There are a few paper copies in the main office if you need one.

Tonight starting at 7:00 PM at the high school is the Talent Show. May the best talent act win.

Congratulations to the following Charger P.R.I.D.E. winners for this week.  These students should report to Mr. Smith’s office at this time:
4th Grade - Luke Matter, Luka Taylor, Briggs Komlosi and Jamesen Platte
5th Grade - Sydney Church, Olivia Hartz, Alice Simon and George Sharp
6th Grade - Eliza Wheeler, Dominic Carroll, Cooper Smith and Briella Crabtree
7th Grade - Delilah Weinart, Zavier Leon, Sam Ruggles and Emmalee Seville
8th Grade - Lillian Smith, Austin Kinney, Landon Capizzi and Landon Price
We would also like to congratulate this week’s staff Charger P.R.I.D.E. winners - Mr. Caskey and Mrs. Ruffo!  Thanks for all you do for us.

The trivia answer is that the sun is all the colors mixed together, making it appear white to our eyes.

We would like to close with this quote from an unknown author: “Wherever you go, no matter what the weather, always bring your sunshine.”
