Morning Announcements - Thursday, May 7, 2026

The EMS cafeteria will be serving manager’s choice entree, or Daily Grab & Go, glazed carrot coins, fresh fruit, and milk for lunch today.

The weather report for today is partly cloudy with a high of 57.

Today’s trivia question is: How long can a coffee plant live?

We will now announce the winners of today’s Calendar Raffle. Today’s May 7 package A is a $50 Adams on Main Street Certificate. The winner is Michael Chappelear. This ticket was sold by Mitch Asham. Today’s May 7 package B is a $50 Adams on Main Street Certificate. The winner of this prize is Brittany Cashell and the ticket was sold by Liam Weaver.

There is a 4th grade concert tonight, May 7 at 7 pm. Students with speaking parts come at 6 pm for a sound check and everyone else may arrive by 6:30 pm. 

There will be a boys’ basketball open gym on Monday, May 11 after school until 5 for all 6th and 7th grade boys interested in playing basketball next year.  If you have, any questions please contact Coach Scott or Coach Campana.

Any student council reps who would like to stay after school today to help with a decorating project from 3-4 should meet Mrs. Bishop downstairs in our room.

The trivia answer is that a coffee plant can live for up to 100 years, but it typically produces the best beans for about 20-30 years.
