Morning Announcements - Monday, April 13, 2026

The EMS cafeteria will be serving a soft taco with sour cream & salsa or Daily Grab & Go, refried beans, Churro pastry bites, fruit choice and milk for lunch today.

The weather report for today is windy and cloudy with a high of 77.

Today’s trivia question is: How many tacos do American eat in a year? I am guessing a lot.

Hey, are you listening? This Friday, April 17 from 6:30 -8:30pm the student council is hosting a Fun Night for grades 6 through 8. Admission cost is $3. Clear your calendar and listen in tomorrow for more details about the events.

Attention students:
Please remember that toys, games, and playing cards should not be brought to school or used on school grounds. This includes items like Nee Dohs and similar object. Students who have special permission through an Educational Plan to use fidgets as part of their learning support must okay these items with their teachers.  If you bring toys to school, know that they may be taken and turned in to the office. Let’s all do our part to keep our classrooms focused and distraction-free. Thank you!

Good Luck to the track teams as they travel to Willard to compete.

Any 8th grade boy wanting to play freshman basketball next year, there will be a meeting with Coach Campana in the health room on Friday at 7:30 am to discuss spring/summer schedules.  Please contact Coach Campana via email if more information is needed before Friday.

The winners of the 2026 Penny Wars are the 6th grade class with a positive balance of $19.07. Mrs. Bishop and the student council reps will work out the details and share more with you soon.

Would these students please report to the library at this time for a picture. They are Olivia Knalley and Jacob Schnittker, JazMir Green and Hank Stoll, Marissa McDonnell and Parker Smith, Natalie Salmons and Cooper Schaffer, and Evelyn Grady and Landon Price

The trivia answer is that Americans eat over 4.5 billioin tacos annually.

We would like to close with this quote from an unknown author: “You can disagree without being disagreeable.”
