September HS Student of the Month: Mary Moon

The Berlin Heights Kiwanis are pleased to announce Mary Moon is the September Student of the Month at Edison High School.

 Mary has been chosen for her contributions to Edison High School and the Berlin Heights and Milan communities.  Mary’s school activities:  Varsity soccer (Captain, Most-Improved Award, Sportsmanship Ethics and Integrity Award, Sandusky Bay Division All-Academic Team Award, Edison Youth Soccer volunteer coach); varsity tennis; Key Club; Firelands Challenge Academic Team Captain; National Honor Society President; Student Council President; Interact Club; Robotics Club (President, Judge’s Award recipient); E-High Book Club President / Founder; National Spanish Honor Society; Spanish Club; Sources of Strength peer leader; Teen Leadership Corps; Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Conference school representative; honor roll; Science Student of the Quarter and Island Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary Supply Drive Project Coordinator.

 

Mary plans to attend college majoring in finance with a minor in data analytics.  With her degree, Mary aspires to become an investment banker and advise large corporations or government organizations on making sound and responsible financial decisions.  Mary is the daughter of Michael and Melissa Moon of Berlin Heights, Ohio.
